Saint Maurice

Saint-Maurice is a Canadian parish municipality in Quebec located in the Les Chenaux Regional County Municipality (MRC), administrative region of Mauricie. Saint-Maurice is also part of the Trois-Rivieres metropolitan area.

The hagiotoponym refers to Maurice d'Agaune.

The Riviere à la Fourche crosses the southeast of the municipality towards the southeast. The Riviere Noire, in the east, flows southwest to its confluence with the Riviere à la Fourche. The Champlain River crosses the south of the municipality from west to east. The Riviere au Lard crosses the municipality from north to southeast to its confluence with the Champlain River in the south. The Brulee River crosses the west of the municipality towards the southeast to its confluence with the Champlain River in the southeast.
